Most DIY rainwater harvesting uses gravity, conduits, and tanks to catch, route and store rain water. But not all systems have a first flush system that diverts and discards the first gallon(s) of rain water that falls on and cleans the roof. This system also automatically drains and resets itself for the next rainfall.
